I did not contact you to pitch a song to you, nor had it ever crossed my mind.
However, I've been listening to your book, 'Mustaine' on Audible while driving to prepare for our upcoming conversation.
When I heard the phrase, 'destined to fracture,' I nearly drove off the road. You had written it in the context of reflecting on the departure from Metallica. While driving, I immediately scrambled for a pen and paper and wrote down those three words as I saw them as a spiritual possibility.

Scripture states that no one comes to the Father unless he is first drawn by the Holy Spirit. No matter what dark delusion we are living in, when we find Christ, we can all look back at the hand of providence and say that dark blindness that had a hold of us was 'destined to fracture.'  God chose you, Mr. Mustaine before you lived a single day. All of the dysfunctional childhood, the Jevohas Witnesses, the girls, the drugs, the music, you would eventually come to Christ. It was all destined to fracture, then finally break.

Upon arriving home, I started up my computer and feverishly begin feeding Chat AI my concepts, thoughts, and spiritual insights into a song entitled, 'Destined to Fracture.' I came up with a few versions that weren't doing it for me. Then there was this one, which I loved. Megadeth? You decide.

I don't throw around terms like 'God spoke to me' easily. As a matter of fact, I've never said it. However, and I'm sure you can attest, there are moments of powerful inspiration where you feel the Holy Spirit dropped something in you, and all you can do is get it on paper as you pretty much have it from beginning to end in your head and you don't want to lose it.
